A Writing Hat Trick With Kindle Vella Stories
Ever since I left blogging in June of this year, I began to have lots of time to write whatever I wanted; among the great benefits of writing is that you can write whatever you want to write, and then if you wanted to write something that is very special, first you have to make plans by jotting down what you like for your story to be.
Throughout this year alone, I have created and written not one, but THREE Kindle Vella stories; the first Kindle Vella story of 2024 that I have written and published turns out to be the last Kindle Vella story in which I would publish each episode every week: That Kindle Vella story was called Brendella & Mooi, and it happens to be a direct follow-up to my Kindle fantasy book, Brendella. In this Kindle Vella series, Brendella and her beau, the mer-prince, Royal Sea Prince Mooi, are now married; Brendella is now a mermaid, and Mooi is, well, just a merman! They go on brand-new adventures as a mer-couple, but wait till you check out the end. Something will be coming for Royal Sea Princess Brendella that will change her and her husband’s lives forever! Next up is another new Kindle Vella series, and it is called The Incredible Five; this Kindle Vella series is as special to me as anything, because it happens to be drawn from my own personal memories. I used to listen to a radio station back when I was living in Philadelphia called Oldies 98.1 WOGL-FM; that was the station that played the golden oldies and had such great and talented personalities. That station’s format no longer exists, but those talented personalities have inspired me to create the characters for this Kindle Vella series-Chucky, the leader, along with Curly, Jackie, Crystal, and Harris. Yes, they are radio DJs, but there is a difference: All five of them have got magic powers! And how they got those magic powers is a mystery, but they play the golden oldies while staying one step ahead of the evil radio DJs who try to make the people of Philadelphia forget about them with their own evil magic! But not only that, they meet a young boy named James, who manages the school newspaper and wants to know more about those mysteriously magic-powered DJs!

And now, last but not least, is my latest Kindle Vella story that has just been published, The Knight of The Sea; this one is a fantasy adventure, one in which I have entered in Kindle Vella’s own Velly awards contest. This series is a fantasy adventure, and the episodes are short stories that chronicle the adventures of Kevin, Rhonda, and Butch, three lifeguards who work at the beach in Santa Monica, California; their summer is about to be over, and those three lifeguards were about to ponder their future and think about getting other jobs when all of a sudden, a water tornado appears and carries all three of them away down to the bottom of the sea! There, the three lifeguards are transported to a fantastical undersea kingdom; a royal sea king named Neptune tells the trio that he had used his magic to summon that tornado because he had selected them to help him protect and save the sea kingdom from all that is evil, including those who try to take the kingdom away from Neptune!
